LegacySecur

Caribbean-first digital estate planning. A banker’s precision meets a builder’s agility — a will, an executor toolkit, and Legacy Letters, built solo in weeks.

The Builder

Banker turned builder.
Top 1% Base44 Maker.

I’ve always considered myself something of a techie — a Sony Ericsson kid who sold laptops on the side during a banking career just to stay close to what was new. With AI, staying ahead of the curve stopped being optional.

LegacySecur started as a side project in April 2025 — a Replit ad, a friend’s nudge, and a concept I’d worked out in ChatGPT. When I found myself between opportunities, I put real muscle into it — rebuilt on Base44, refined the idea with Claude, registered the domain, incorporated the business, and pushed to launch.

The problem

Across the Caribbean, the large majority of adults die without a will. Not from indifference, but from a mix of cultural avoidance — a real, documented superstition that making a will invites death — limited access to affordable legal services, and the assumption that a will is something only lawyers and money can justify. The consequence is severe: government ministers and the head of Jamaica's Administrator General's Department have both spoken publicly about billions of dollars sitting frozen in intestate estates, with probate delays stretching years across several territories while families are locked out of accounts and property until the courts intervene.

The product

LegacySecur lets people build a legally structured Last Will and Testament online, without a lawyer or an in-person office visit. Beyond the will itself, the platform includes an asset inventory, a probate checklist, executor notifications, and Legacy Letters — private messages held securely and released to family or beneficiaries when the time comes.

Who it's for

Everyday Caribbean families and the wider Caribbean diaspora. People who own a home, savings, or a small business and want their wishes honoured — not families with complex estates who need a lawyer. Plans start at USD $99, one-time payment, lifetime access — deliberately priced for people who would otherwise never make a will at all.

Status

Currently in pre-launch. The platform is live for early signups, with the full public release planned for Q4 2026 as legal guidance across target territories is finalized. LegacySecur is being built in close consultation with legal guidance across target territories to ensure the platform meets local requirements before full launch. Visitors can join the waitlist today.
